New Online Processing Center Launching in August

The new Online Processing Center is launching in late August. The new center is being enhanced based on PADI Member feedback to ensure a more user friendly experience. It will also be responsive in design so that it can be easily accessed by your mobile or tablet.

Importantly, once the new Online Processing Center goes live in August, the old PIC Online application will be retired, and all online certifications will need to be processed via the revamped Online Processing Center.

Some of the exciting enhancements to the Online Processing Center are:

  • Reorganization and simplified navigation.
  • Mobile optimization of all screens.
  • Simplified language and wording throughout the portal.
  • Downloadable reports for digital products in each status.
  • Digital codes scoreboard for a quick reference of your available codes.
  • Integrated tooltips to provide descriptions of each section or application.
  • Improved filtering and sorting options of digital code data.
  • Drop-down menu of languages.

The revised Online Processing Center will launch in multiple languages including English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic and Russian.

New Online Processing Center Coming Soon – Old PIC Online Being Retired

Based on PADI Member feedback, the Online Processing Center is currently being enhanced to improve usability and digital product management. The improvements affect both design and organization of the site, making standard PIC processing and processing student divers with digital codes easier and more intuitive.

Once the new Online Processing Center goes live, the old PIC Online application will be retired, and all online certifications will need to be processed via the revamped Online Processing Center. You will want to start using the current Online Processing Center since the old PIC Online application will be deleted soon, which will be a much easier transition for you once the revised version launches.

Some of the exciting enhancements to the Online Processing Center are:

  • Reorganization and simplified navigation (all digital codes are managed under one section).
  • Mobile optimization of all screens.
  • Simplified language and wording throughout the portal.
  • Digital codes scoreboard for a quick reference of your available codes.
  • Integrated tooltips to provide descriptions of each section or application.
  • Improved filtering and sorting options of digital code data.
  • Drop-down menu of languages.

If you haven’t already, start using the current Online Processing Center and becoming familiar with processing both your standard PICs and students with digital codes through this portal, so you will be ready for the launch of the revised site.

PADI Pro Workshops

PADI Europe, Middle East and Africa is launching an exciting series of practical workshops, offering  you the opportunity to take part in a variety of interactive practical sessions, meet PADI staff and network amongst your peers.

We have a selection of different experiences for you during the course of the day, so bring your dive gear, and join our experienced examiner team for a Control Techniques Workshop, where you’ll take away some hints and tips from the staff on how to conduct some of the classic and updated skills, with an emphasis on real-world best practices for control in open water. You can also refresh your rescue skills in the fun and interactive Rescue Workshop, and make sure you’re up to speed with the latest rescue protocols. And if you’re a Course Director or IDC Staff Instructor, you’re also invited to take part in an Evaluation Training Workshop, where we’ll practice evaluating some of the skills from the recently revised Open Water Diver Course (as a bonus you can attend any of these workshops free of charge if you also just came along to the corresponding IDC Staff Instructor / Course Director Update!).

When you’ve dried off, or even if you aren’t able to attend the in-water sessions, you can also attend the complimentary Risk Management Seminar, pick up some tips on conducting the Revised Open Water Diver Course, and take advantage of a Training Drop-In Clinic to ask the Training team any questions you have about PADI programmes or materials. In some locations, these programmes will also be combined with a Member Forum hosted by your PADI Regional Manager!

You can find the latest schedule of workshop dates and download a registration form here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
